Work at DFW Airport

Ever wondered how the work changes within an airport? Additional safety measures likely come as no surprise. Mulholland currently has five hydro excavation units and crews out working right next to the runway at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport! Each crew is outfitted with goggles in place of their usual face shields. The airport requires that all clothing and PPE be strapped on to eliminate the risk of an item blowing off and onto the runways.

To that end, the crews have hard hats with chin straps to be in full compliance with this safety requirement. While we are experts in the field of hydrovac, we appreciate the direction of the airport security teams in ensuring strict compliance by all contractors to keep the airport a safe workplace for all involved. They have specified crews dedicated to keeping any trash or other items from crossing into the runway and potentially being sucked into a jet turbine. Compliance, clear communication, and thorough coordination ensure safe and efficient work at the airport, and Mulholland is thrilled to be able to provide our services for the advancement of airport projects without interruption.

Bringing value and solutions to every scenario.
