At Mulholland, our customers are more than clients—they’re partners. When disaster strikes, we stand ready to support them on the front lines.

In July 2024, Hurricane Beryl made landfall in the greater Houston area, prompting widespread damage and prolonged power outages. The night before the storm, utility companies and public agencies mobilized response efforts. At 5:00 p.m., Mulholland received a call from Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP) requesting hydrovac support in anticipation of the recovery efforts.

Within four hours, our team finalized all paperwork, quotes, and scheduling, successfully dispatching crews and equipment before dawn. We established three strategic staging sites in Friendswood, Texas City, and Dickinson, ensuring a rapid and flexible response wherever needed.

Our crews worked tirelessly alongside TNMP, providing vital services including:

  • Resetting power poles
  • Trenching for new lateral lines
  • Excavating for distribution pole installation
  • Locating underground utilities for safe repairs and upgrades

During one of the region’s longest and most widespread outages, Mulholland was proud to deliver the critical support our partners needed to restore infrastructure and help communities recover.

Bringing value and solutions to every scenario.
